Plan your Pollinator Habitat!
April 19, 2025
10-12:30 |
Plan your Pollinator Habitat!
Pollinator Habitat needs help! They need flowers, shelter, nesting areas, protection from pesticides, and people to advocate and work for them.
Greenspaces that provide pollinator habitat - such as parks, ravines, and greenbelts - are limited. We can help by creating habitat around our homes, businesses, and schools. This increases the connected habitats that allow pollinators to move through human-developed areas pollinating flowers, trees, and crops. Even small patches of habitat in window boxes, along sidewalks, and on porches give pollinators the opportunity to feed or rest. Come to this class and see how you can create a connected-space in your home landscape! |

Hi Kathy Thank you so much for taking the time to come over and get a feel for my yard and give me some of your great ideas. I can't wait to work together with you, and I appreciate how you see the energy the yard holds and I love how you have such an intuitive sense of the flow and how to work with and encourage that. I really am excited about moving forward and can't wait till I can see (feel!) it start to come together in a more harmonious way. Thank you SO very much and I will be in contact as soon as we can move forward. Happy November Cheri |
Working with Kathy was a joy from start to finish. Our rain garden was part of a larger landscaping project, and Kathy worked beautifully with everyone else involved. I had very little time to devote to the project, and Kathy kept me well informed on a daily basis. We ended up with a gorgeous rain garden that our whole neighborhood benefits from, both visually and functionally. Kathy’s passion, deep knowledge, and practical, hands-on approach are a winning combination. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Best, Stephanie |
